A simple chain, a solid AI.
Vexdrone combines a drone, a detection AI and a field application. Here is how it all fits together.
From drone to report.
The drone
The drone follows a pre-planned inspection path and flies over the infrastructure autonomously. It gets close to the areas to check — tower tops, line spans, wide surfaces — where human access is hard or dangerous. The flight is planned to cover the structure from every useful angle, without interrupting operations.
The capture
During the flight, the drone films and photographs the infrastructure in high definition. Each shot is tagged with its geographic coordinates, so everything observed can be located precisely on the structure. These geolocated images are then sent to the application for analysis.
AI analysis
Our computer-vision model examines the images and automatically flags anomalies: faults, damage and points of attention specific to each type of infrastructure. What would take hours to review by eye is sorted quickly, so nothing important is missed and teams can focus on what matters.
The report
The detected anomalies are gathered into a clear, geolocated report. Each point of attention is precisely located on the structure and presented in a readable way, with no technical expertise required. The field agent knows where to act first, and has a usable record for maintenance and long-term follow-up.
Built for our realities.
Field-adapted
Our approach is designed for the region's real infrastructure and conditions: large sites, difficult access, local constraints. Rather than an imported one-size-fits-all solution, we adapt the drone and the model to the structures we inspect, for results that hold up in the field.
Regulation-compliant
We operate within visual line of sight, in compliance with the drone regulations in force. This compliance is not just another constraint: it is what lets us operate legally and safely for our clients, with no grey areas.
Usable by your teams
The deliverable is made to be used, not decoded. The report is clear, located and readable by your teams without special technical skills. It fits straight into your maintenance and guides decisions, from the field to the office.
